Hi Manisha. Thanks for your comment. Sorry to hear this didn't work for you. Sounds to me like you need to add more ghee (until it forms a paste) and cook a while longer. I hope this helps. Sanjana

Hi Sanjana, I tried out your cashew nut and white chocolate burfi recipe. Unfortunately for me it did not turn out at all. I ended up with a very crumbly mixture after I added the ground cashews. I used cashew nut meal from the grocery store. I weighed out 600g ground cashew meal and 250g sugar as per recipe. I also use correct measure for rest of ingredients. I also used a candy thermometer to reach 115 degrees. It's my first time making cashew burfi and I don't know where I went wrong. I stirred it for a while on low heat and it remained crumbly. I took it out of the pot and tried to knead with gloves on as it was very hot and still no dough formed. I tasted it and tasted very good. So I don't want to throw this mixture out. It is quite a lot of mixture. Can u help me, how can I fix this situation so I can make the burfi. If there is no remedy, is there anyway I can use up this mix - it would be a shame to throw this out. If I keep this mix in the fridge, how long would it keep?
Please reply soon. Thanks.
